For 2010 we can now offer a new generation in single bed haulm toppers.
The Trinity 22B is a progression from our proven Trinity 6000 3 bed topper and shares many of its features. To overcome the need for an expensive and generally high maintenance cross conveyor, shear plates have been utilised to give a similar effect of a straw chopper. This in turn finely chops the haulm to the point where the following potato havester can sieve the debris without the use of haulm rollers.

The working width is increased to 2.2 metres to allow flailing of the adjacent beds and thus avoid trampling of the haulm by tractor wheels.

Standard Specification:

• Steeply curved flails for improved suction and wear life
• Suits 30" and 40" row and bed widths
• Standardised rotors which can be reversed in case of a damaged drive keyway
• Rotor feature heavy duty bearings
• Superior variation in flail length to allow better flailing in row bottoms
• Front or rear mounting facility
• Heavy duty wheel hubs
• Shear plates to assist fine chopping of haulm with choice of single row or full bed width deflectors
• Choice of 540/750 or 1000rpm input speeds

The above picture shows the shear plate arrangement on the topper for use on 2 rows. Flails and shear plates can be changed for any row width configuration or for beds.
