The unit consists of a number of shafts constructed out of deformable, multi fluted soft polyurethane rollers extruding against fully adjustable clod rollers available in a chioce of finishes The fluted rollers are driven by a variable speed motor (for maximum adjustment) and are available in 2 versions:

The clod rollers also have the benefit of variable speed for increased adjustment but they also have the added benefit of height and gap adjustment as well as variable spring tension. The concept of the height and gap adjustment is to increase/ decrease the amount of stone and clod extraction from a crop. Adjustment of the clod rollers is made easy by utilising turnbuckles or rams which allows quick and easy height and gap adjustment. |

Following the judgment handed down by Mr Justice Floyd in the High Court,
we are unable to supply any Evolution Separators with more than 1 rubber
covered clod roller as this would infringe Grimme's patent.
Therefore all Evolution Separators supplied from 1.11.2009 will be fitted with
clod rollers made of either stainless steel or a suitable non infringing material.
