SCOTTS CASCADE chemical application system is a new and environmentally friendly solution for applying post-harvest fungicides to cabbage.  This semi-automated unit caters for 1 Ton crates that are fork-lifted onto the unit where a micro switch will then activate the spray booms located above the crates to dispense the fungicides at up to 60 litres-per-minute for a preset length of time, ensuring for a fast and accurate coverage of the whole crate.

2 bays can be used at one time to maximise the output of the system and reduce downtime.

The system houses a 1200 litre tank underneath the crate departments to collect the used fungicides which can either be re-used or disposed of through your own means of disposal.  

The self contained fungicide supply unit houses its own pump and control systems and can be positioned either next to the Cascade system or if required away from the unit for maximum protection.

The tank shown (picture 2) is a 1000 litre tank which will be suitable for between 50 and 100 crates.  We can supply a bigger or smaller supply unit if required, please call for the other options available.
